Before ordering
What does the $9.99 order include?
One custom portrait of one pet, one first proof, one focused refinement and one high-resolution PNG for personal use. The final file is delivered through a private link active for 14 days.
Does the photo need to be professional?
No. A clear face or defining profile, readable markings and a recognizable expression matter more than a polished background. Candid photos can work well.
Can one portrait include more than one pet?
No. The current service includes one pet. Order a separate portrait for each pet rather than assuming they can be combined.
Can I send more than one source photo?
The request form accepts one primary image. Choose the photo with the expression and features you most want to preserve; use the free review if you are deciding between images.
What if I am unsure whether the photo will work?
Use the free photo review on the Create page. The studio will check clarity, pose and important details before you decide whether to order.
Proof and refinement
How long does the first proof take?
It is usually ready within three business days after payment and after the studio receives a usable source photo and complete portrait notes.
How will I receive the proof?
The proof and refinement instructions are sent to the email connected to the paid order. Check spam, promotions and filtered folders if the message does not appear when expected.
What can I ask to change?
One focused refinement is included for feedback about expression, markings, crop, color, background or atmosphere within the original source photo and chosen direction.
What is outside the included refinement?
A different pet, new source photo or substantially different portrait direction changes the original request and may require a new order. The studio will explain this before additional work begins.
Can a leash, collar or background object change?
Name anything important before work begins. A collar can remain, and distracting elements may be reduced when the source and chosen direction allow it. A substantial recomposition is outside a focused refinement.
Delivery and use
What file do I receive?
One approved high-resolution PNG for personal use, delivered online through a private link. Editable working files are not included.
What if the download link expires?
Download and back up the PNG while the link is active for 14 days. If it expires before you save the file, contact the studio with the order number and checkout email so the request can be verified.
Can I print the PNG?
The file is intended for personal digital use and ordinary personal printing. Results depend on the printer, paper and crop; no physical print or specific print-size guarantee is included.
Can I use the portrait commercially?
Not under the standard personal-use order. Commercial use requires a separate written agreement; contact the studio before ordering.
Is anything shipped?
No. KeptPaw currently sells only the digital portrait. Checkout does not require a shipping address and there is no shipping fee.
Payment, privacy and help
How is payment handled?
The $9.99 USD checkout is handled securely through PayPal. KeptPaw does not ask you to send a password or complete payment-card number by email or through a portrait form.
Can I cancel or request a refund?
Contact the studio as soon as possible with the order number and checkout email. Eligibility depends on whether custom work has begun and on applicable law. See Refunds and Revisions.
What happens to my photo?
The upload is stored outside the public media library and used to prepare and support the request. Customer work is not added to the gallery without permission. See the Privacy Notice.
How do I ask about an existing order?
Use the Contact page and include the order number and checkout email. Never send a password or complete payment-card number.
Ready, or still deciding?
Order when the source photo and direction feel clear. Use the free review when the image is dark, cropped, old or difficult to judge.
